When making breeding matches, we look for stallions to complement each mare’s strengths and correct her weaknesses; we also are interested in genetic diversity. For those reasons, we don't intend to stand a stallion of our own and risk narrowing our focus. Below, you will find some of the stallions that we have used.

Don Alfredo

Don Alfredo is by Don Juan, who sired many successful international level performance horses.  He has a lifetime earning of more than $420,000 and is listed by the breeding value index as number 66 overall out of more than 1,000 stallions in his age group.  Don Juan has  more than 150 offspring who competed in the 1995 and 1996 season in the "Upper Level" show jumping, from whom Don Blanco, Denia, Dennis, Diorella, DeLuxe, Don Ramiro, Donna Sola, Dulf, Dirty Dancing, Der Senaat and Don Allegro were successfully shown in the Grand Prixs.  

Don Alfredo is out of Anneke by the National Stud owned stallion Archimedes.  Archimedes is an offspring of the Trakehner foundation sire Abglanz, who also sired the champion stallion Absatz.  Archimedes, born in 1963, has a lifetime earning of $300,000 and is listed with the breeding value index as number 98 for dressage out of more than 1,500 stallions in his age group.
